Came back from the long weekend to lovely messages. The owner of the horse I'm loosing, http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=395296, has told his other sharer (who started recently when owner temporarily lost interest so was already paying double the amount but has given notice for financial reasons) that she is replacing me with New Richer Sharer. Not only has Other Sharer, a vet & rides very well, sent a really nice message about how well the two of us got on with horse she has also mentioned my surprise loss to another owner... who has said I can ride her mare! How lovely is that?
It doesn't really matter if it works out or not. It is just *lovely* to know that other more experienced riders and owners who have seen me around the yards trust me enough to feel that generous. Feeling much, much more positive about the local horsey world
Plus horse's owner has made it clear replacing me was purely financial decision (she is now 25 and has her first proper job and so I think her parents are expecting her to contribute more towards her horse's keep and possibly even pay rent) so I would be able to pop in and visit horse if in the area (for example if going to see the mare...)
