Didn't want to post these on the other thread about muscle problems because that's not fair on the OP, but the University of Minnesota has been doing a lot of work on muscle diseases and their link to genetics for years now, and put out 4 sessions back in the summer. They're an hour long so not a quick watch / listen, but they are interesting even if you don't have a horse with a muscle disease. Hope the links work - they go back to the university FB page.
For those of you with a horse who has tested positive to a myopathy (either by genetic test or biopsy) they are really interested in getting your horse and a control horse into the study.
