so 2 weeks ago my brown cat gets bitten by a rat so off to vets then last week my neighbours JRT bit a part of my goats tail off anyway all sorted all ok and then this morning my ginger cat has a bloody great bite on his face and i know its another neighbours cat because since they moved in it has been coming in my garden and having a go at my 2 cats to the point that the ginger boy wont go out and i have had to put a litter tray down he is 14 now so getting on so off to vets again drained and antibiotics the problem is i cant prove its their cat so going to invest in a big water gun and blast the sod everytime he comes over the fence :D

Oh dear. The dog attack was horrible. So sad we can't control the cat or eat movements. Best wishes. That's your 3 out of the way though.

Enjoy your water gun:D:D:D:DWe had a couple several years ago that bought the house 2 doors down they had a grey cat, that would saunter into my front garden, duffed up my old female cat and then started on my young tom. They both went down with a strain of cat flu, which they hadn't been vac for,vet told me there are several strains and you couldn't vacc against them all, several other cats went down with the same problem, mine didn't really recover and died a year and a year and a half later. They sold up and moved away, has been no problem since that I know of,but I no longer keep cats

lol thats what i said today to my freind i know its hard to control cats so just going to keep chasing this other cat away untill he learns ;)

In fairness and while I appreciate you are really annoyed but there is precious little your neighbour can do to control her cats. My sister had the same issue as did one of my closest friends and it did seem bitterly unfair that their elderly cats were being beaten up when they went outside. With my sister she ended up going out with her old cat and waterpistoling any cat that came near. My friend ended up letting her (dobies) out when the old cat wanted to go outside. Dobies would ignore friends cat but go ape if another cat came in the garden. My friend also had to lock the cat flap as the bu**ers got cocky and started to come into the house and she didn't want to find pieces of someone elses cat strewn around her home.

yes thats what the sod did was come in my cat flap so have shut it tonight while i am at work i have set my terrier on this cat numerous times but she is old as well and doesnt have a hope in hell in catching the cat but does have a good go and she doesnt chase her own cats so will let her out when ginger boys goes out its the summer i worry about as my cats tend to live out through the summer so i will have to sort it by then
