I would really appreciate your help and advice.

I have a 3 year old she has been with me now for 12 months, during this time she has never really settled to being in her stable, i have tried to bring her in and feed her in there and leave her for longer periods of time, and she has stayed in her stable overnight, but is not really settled. She seems better when the horses who are directly opposite are in where she can see them, but if horses are in on the same side of the barn she's not quite so happy, she goes constantly to her net then to the door again back and forth back and forth, and the other issue is that directly behind her stable in the barn, is where the hay and staw is stacked for each individual livery, if someone is around the back making up haynets filling bags etc. it sends her completely off on one.

What can i do? does anyone have any ideas, and please don't say move yards as i love this yard.

I have considered asking another livery if she will swap stables, as the other side there is nothing behind the stables to disturb her, but if they say no im stuck.

Thank you for reading. :)

Yes to swap stables. Does she have to be in?
Can she see the hay and straw area or is it blanked off? If she can see it I would block it off and see if that helps and if she can't see it I would try to make it so she can.

She doesn't have to be in at the moment, but I will need her to come in over winter just to save the field/grazing, we have individual turnout paddocks.

I think the reason the noises behind the stable bothers her is because she cannot see what is making the noise, but they are breeze block stables so unfortunately i cannot make it possible for her to see.

I had thought about a mirror, but wasn't sure if this would help.
