Unsure whether my pony has a bad back or bad legs?

Hey guys,
My pony has become unbalanced in canter and i'm not sure why.
She is great in walk and trot, but when it comes to canter she either bombs forward or refuses to change. Shes ok when she gets going, but she swishes her tail. She has bucked a few times in the past and i'm having a physio check her back tomorrow but i feel it may be her back legs. Was watching my sister ride her today and she didn't seem comfortable on her left hinde leg. But would this not affect her in walk and trot too?
I wish she could talk to me and say 'look mum this is what wrong!!!'

She actually seems more reluctant on her left...perhaps i've got it mixed up and its her right hinde thats uncomfortable..now that i think about it anyway. Its quite hard to tell on her.

Whichever is the inside hind will have more pressure on it in the canter (i.e. if shes worse on the left hind, her left canter is likely to be worse, as its more effort for her to bring hind leg underneath her to push off)... Did she used to be fine cantering, or has she always had problems with balance etc?

That makes sense. She wasn't always unbalanced, but has been for a fair while now. Just can't really make sense of it. I've given her rest and tried riding again, but she still seems uncomfortable. I took a video of my sister riding her and she seemed to take two small steps with her back legs every other stride.

I always get my farrier to have a look if I think it is a leg lameness - and anything else I get the equine physio out.

I hope she is soon on the mend.

yeah don't worry, my mctimmoney sorted it out no problem.
We only noticed when he walked up hill and one side of his pelvis was slightly higher than the other.

I have the farrier coming out on tuesday and physio tomorrow so we'll see how it goes.
I just thought i'd ask to see whether anyone had any thoughts or opionions about the problem. Feel really bad riding her if shes in pain!!
Thanks for your replies
