I have a brand new unopened tube of Sedalin, now I’m aware of all the rules/dangers of selling but it does mean that I have to put it in the bin!!! It’s such a waste. Is there anything I can do to avoid binning it?

I open it and reuse it months later but throw it away if its open and then passes the use by date. Unopened I would use after the use by date, its potency may have started to diminish and if you find it doesn't work as well, give them a bit more. I have give 15ml in one does before - and that was actually a brand new in date tube

A chemist can dispose of it if you’re worried about where it might end up. I use things well after their dates usually though. The worst is that it will be less effective, though in my experience, it’s fine especially if it’s not been subject to really high temperatures or freezing.
