Having a bit of a panic, I noticed them today on the inside wall of my boy's right ear. Vaguely resemble warts but bigger, seems to be about three of four in a cluster. YM is going to check them out tomorrow....any clues?? Getting very worried

As appennea says they are ear plaques and are very common. The usual advice is to leave them alone and you can't do anything about it, but if you look at some of the old threads on this forum you'll see some of us experimented with various creams on the market. I used Dermafas, which did seem to get rid of them, although not immediately, and only after I had stopped using it (assuming it killed off whatever caused them).

Sounds like ear plaques. PF has some. Best to leave them alone as they do absolutely no harm and horses generally don't like them to be fiddled with, although a cream called Dermafas is reputed to be brilliant at getting rid of them (if you really feel the need to)

Oh PF!! I went to see Dakota on Friday and you know I had used MTG a couple of times on her and then never did anything again? Well when I saw her last week I looked in her ears and the plaques are almost non-existant!! Crazy eh?
