Unwanted equestrian items - any ideas?

Just wondering what you guys do with unwanted / no longer needed equestrian items? Don't want to be 'advertising' but items such as event boots, rugs, spurs, bits, tack, etc all of which are in excellent condition (some brand / nearly new) just not needed with current horses.

I have already tried ebay with not much success :-( I don't want to give them away as monies would be useful but seems a waste that they are just sitting in the tack room when someone could be using them. Any ideas?

At events post on the side of your lorry /trailer a list of what you have going, maybe lug the smaller stuff with you, and leave a contact number (mobile).
Surprising how fast stuff goes especially if you are asking less than the retailers and e.g. selling a pair of spurs that some one forgot to pack....=)

likewize keep an eye out for local equine based car boots or if you are feeling brave (and have the space) organise one yourself.

it works best if its really well advertised & at a good location (eg busy local equestrian centre)

Taylored Equestrian - thanks for the offer but its a bit of a treck up to Shrewsbury for us.

If anyone knows of any in the Worcs / Herefords / Glos areas please let me know.

Many thanks for all your replies and to those who have PM'd me for details. Overwhelmed by the response and people's interest.

I have typed up a list of items, mostly bits and other items of tack, PM if you want details. Rugs will be added once they have been washed. There is a couple of stable rugs 6'3".
