My little terrier blaze is quite under the weather.

Yesterday morning, didnt come to call in the house, didnt come when her food was being prepared yesterday morning. She has never refused food before, jsut sniffed it walked away and lay down. She has had both D&V. Tried her with small bit of chicken and egg last night but brought it straight back up. She is drinking, thought she picked up last night however has had more D&V overnight. She is very lerthargic, doenst really want to get up, will if you make her, walking around, tail between legs, ears down just looking poorly.

Want to take her to vet but only appointment is at 11.50, got to be in uni and hour way by 1 for assessment so cant make that appointemnt and they have no others.

However can take her in as an emergency or wait and take her this evening?

Do you think she should be seen this am or tonight?
Have to drive and hour home to get her.

Thanks

havent you got anyone else to take her? a friend, family?

could she have gotten to any rat poison or similar substance. i would be very concerned and be booking the vet asap.

How long since it started?
If she is looking poorly but drinking and slightly picked up over nice then she may be fine to wait until this evening.
But if it has been going on for a while and she seems more than just "poorly" then get her to the vet straight away.

Could you try a different vet surgery?
No point being loyal if they cant see you when needed.
Yes its nice to see the same vet but but an unwell dog needs to see a vet and they are all trained!

I hope she feels better soon.

Pop her to the vets. From what I have heard through friends, there is a doggy gastro virus doing the rounds. If so, may be quick to rectify, likely she will need rehydration via drip.
