well i firstly would like to thank everone who gave the famous healing vibes. floyd had his drip put up when i left him yesterday afternoon. his vet also ran blood tests. when i phoned him at 5pm i was told he was very settled and drip was running well. The blood tests were all normal except his protein levels they were quite low which he found strange as he exspected his u&e to be off the scale and his white bloods cells to be raised. this maded me feel a bit better although was not convinced he was going to be alright. then out of the blood i got a phone call at 10.45pm and it said vets my heart just about stopped as inew it was bad. the vet said he was not happy with floyd he had took a turn for the worse was not responding very well to him and hethought he had took a massive stroke. i dashed straght over to the practice which is 5 mins away. he was not responding very well to my voice either and was drolling all over the place (not like him) unfortunally in floyd's intrest her was put to sleep at 11.00pm last night. i now think he possibly took a mini stroke earlier in the day and that is what made his so wobbly and have the involuntary limb movements. words can't explain how i feel. floyd was my baby my best freind and i loved him so much i tried my best to save him but he just couldn't fight it this time. i miss him so much. but i would like to thank every one for there supportthankyou

You did everything you could. I am glad you managed to be there at the end, for both of your sakes.

RIP Floyd xxxxx
