I managed to take Kanni on our first solo proper hack. All going amazingly well and I was being proud about how non-spooky he was being... then.... something moved down low near his feet and we did a harrier jump jet esk vertical take off. I had time to shout 3 expletives on the way up and 2 on the way down - while hearing Jeremy Clarkson shouting POWER in my ear...
Sadly I missed the saddle on the way down and sort of ski'd down his side and ended up in the thistles. And now I sing the praises of my body protector and hat ... bless them and all those who ride in them.
So today's thread ... Am I a numpty rider or would most people have fallen off? (Although technically I was ejector seated...)
