I know a few of you have been following my previous posts but for those of you who haven't here's a link to the background info.

Well today 5 weeks after he arrived I finally got to ride him, it was lovely and it felt like I had known him forever. It was a very short ride and mainly walk with a little trot and he was a complete angel considering he hadn't been ridden for 6-7 months previously.
I have been lunging him for the past couple of weeks but even so it was the first time he had worn a saddle. I am so pleased with him and even with how weak and unbalanced he feels, I could feel the power that will be thee once he's fit.
We did have one small issue as the girth I bought him was way to small, so I had to go to the tack store to pick up a 60" girth! It's nearly as tall as me lol
Anyway a few photos coming up please excuse my position I was so happy to be on board I couldn't stop looking at him
