Hi everyone bit of an update on Bobby. Having spoken to vet again it seems that Bobbys boney changes on elbow are the bodies attempt at stabilising the joint by the bone growth trying to bridge the joint post injury,exactly what has caused this is unknown but we believe it could have started back in february when he pulled a shoe and twisted his knee, and probably aggrevated by a later injury which cause the onset of ongoing unsoundness. Well we have decided that next time the farrier is due (about 3 weeks) we will have his shoes removed and turn him away for at least a couple of months after this and then reaccess his progress.
