*update* Daisy has foaled!

I don't know who will remember, but Daisy got pregnant under less than ideal circumstances, don't want to post the whole story this is a happy post and at 18 was a maiden mare.

She has done so well and we have a lovely black (think filly not confirmed) foal with a white star and very long legs!
She did it all by herself with no problems (so far) at about 7am, nice surprise for the Saturday staff arriving and both mum and baby are doing well

I'm not home for another 2 weeks so I am working on getting a photo but if not you will all need to wait 2 weeks and I promise there will be hundreds

I'm so happy they're both ok, and very excited at having a foal around! We hardly ever have babies of any animals never mind a horsey one

Thanks, Diasy says thank you too! She is happily munching hay whilst baby gets used to the world, with the Saturday girls peeking in the barn evey few minutes

I look forward to getting them! I get back on the 11th and will visit on the 12th May, it's my mum's birthday so can't go all day but I'm sure she won't mind

Daisy and baby haven't quite got the hang of the feeding part so foal is having colostrum and having to have a bit of a helping hand but they should get the hang of it soon hopefully, both a bit confused bless them!
