UPDATE-help finding a highland!

Not the best pic, but here you go :) what is your ones breeding? I know nothing about Highlands really, mine is by Torrinn of Whitefield & out of Kirsty of Homehead, her reg name is Sheezmine if Cairnargat.
Weird how it all happened really, id been looking for something for a while so i could retire my old lad & i spoke to the lady who owned her on Thursday, went to see her Friday morning & she was in my field by Friday afternoon ooops!

Her breeding is Sire Moss-side Domhnach. Dam Burnside Glencora (Female Champ RHS). I dont have any good pictures as yet but will load them tomorrow to let you all see.

Oh brilliant, two new highland owners. If you're interested in the lineage there is a highland pony chat forum with some fairly knowledgeable peeps on it :)

I saw mine in the catalogue for Llanybydder last Thursday but her owner didnt take her, thankfully for me :) i forgot to mention there is also the possibility she maybe in foal for next year as well...double ooops lol!

Yesterday I went to pick up a Highland RDA pony who I am having on loan so she can have a some time off RDA work but she decided not to load.
We tried for an hour and a half but her unshod feet were slipping on the ramp as she got near the top and she lost confidence to take the final steps in. We eventually gave up and they will drop her to me in a trailer. It was horrible driving home without her as we'd been so excited about picking her up.
I actually like her more as she handled the whole thing really well, first time with bandages on, first time away from her friends for years, first time loading on a lorry and apart from being so stubborn about taking the last few steps she didn't do anything naughty at all.
Hopefully she will load on the trailer which she's been in before as I'm really looking forward to giving her a nice fun year with her.
