Update - Lari's retirement

Well Lari is at his new home and seems to have settled in well and has even made a new friend.

He did look beautiful trotting across the field, neck arched, tail high doing an amazing elevated trot!

I'm so pleased. Even when he met the over the fence there was no squealing or anything, the gate was open and a couple came out to introduce themselves.

Delighted. We are going to visit tomorrow.

Yes he does! But there's a few that are his size, including my friends horse who was at one point sharing a field with Bailey my previous horse at the livery yard Lari has left today. Small world.

Going to take myself off to the gym later to try and occupy my mind as there will be a big shaped Lari hole in my life. And I need to get fit!

We are going to visit tomorrow.

Feel like a weight has been lifted Asha.
I can't imagine the state I'd be in now driving home from the blood bank, knowing I'd never see him again. So glad I had this lifeline.

Thank you. Yes, it's such a shame - he's everything I want in a horse: experience, ability, personality looks, temperament and kindness but he just hasn't the body to go with it.
