Anyone struggling with a problem and dithering whether to send the horse for a bit of extra help, do it!
My horse is very afraid of large vehicles, especially when they approach fast from head on. After having had 4 x 4s driven round the school with her and a professional man on board, she's now hacking on quiet lanes without acrobatics. Always with a very bold, sensible horse with a capable rider on her outside, but I rode her out today and her confidence has come on tremendously.
She just needs to not have any scares and I need to stop tensing up and anticipating disasters.
So bootcamp seems to have been the right move and she's staying for a while longer yet.
Thanks for reading.
