Update - New Boy has lost his confidence

We went to the vets yesterday and after extensive tests xrays it shows he has Kissing Spine.

It is only two processes and he is to undergo the less invasive form of surgery on Friday. Basically reestablishing a gap between the two processes.

Thank you I am gutted but it will be local anaesthetic and I am soo pleased I didnt send him to naughty school I will just have to do loads of walking hugging and massaging over the winter.

he is such a nice horse I know he is worth putting a 110 percent into.

Although it is obviously worrying that he has kissing spine and needs some medical attention, on the bright side it is reassuring really.

It sounded as though he was such a good sort for several months and that you trusted him hugely, this would confirm to me, that he still is that good dependable horse that gave you confidence. He just needs fixing.

I am sure after you have him fully back in work he will be your super star again.

Exactly couldn't put it better myself it is also a huge advantage that he is good in the stable and my stubborn no he isn't naughty has been proved right so now we can work towards life being better for him
