Different Farrier (same practice)came yesterday and spent ages watching him move, how he stands at rest etc. He noted that the weight appeared to come down, almost at a diagonal from the inside of his knee to the outside of the hoof but the hoof shape turns in very slightly too. There is still no sign of the corns from 3 months ago but there is evidence of bruising across the frog and most of the sole which may explain him hobbling over the stony track. His back hooves needed a rest from shoes after a hunting season where he pulled them off regularly so they have come off (he started Formula4feet 6 weeks ago). He has wider/ longer (at the heel not toe) front shoes with concussion pads to help bring up his heels. He seems better but is still not right (wasnt expecting a miracle cure) so we will give him 4 weeks then have more scans/xrays done.
First video shows him the night before the farriers visit on the lunge- its his choice to hoon around-i wanted a quiet trot... Mute speakers if you are at work due to loud f*rt at 2.46 mins
