So a few of you may remember that I had an ex race horse called Celine. She moved to her new home in October after I broke my leg in a freak accident. I went to visit her this morning for the first time since being able to walk again. It was so great to see her and be around horses - can't wait to get back in the saddle!
Anyway Celine has been progressing really well and seems incredibly happy in her new home with lots of other horsey friends to play with. She recently had an abscess in her off hind, so was off work for a few weeks and that coupled with very little turnout has meant she's got a lot of energy! She was always pretty chilled out with us as she was always out 24/7 but the thoroughbred in her is certainly starting to come out more. However her new owner still very much adores her and I have also been offered to come and ride quite regularly at the yard, riding Celine and a few other horses as soon as I am able to! Very exciting!
