He was his normal happy self this morning but his knee still very swollen and swelling travelling up his leg so it was decided best to get xray and scan done asap.

My friend came straight over with transport and off to hospital we went. I was very worried as he's only travelled twice and never that far or on his own, but he was fine.
Had xray and scan done. Knee joint FINE. Growth plate FINE and sheath tendon FINE.

But he has 3 small chips of bone off this knee floating and alot of fluid around the area. Vet says with alot of TLC, box rest and short walks and he should have no lasting problems. Bute and anti b's twice a day.
Also want to say what a star he was. He just stood quietly for 6 xrays, had leg shaved ( never seen clippers ) and stood still for the scan. The vet said he was absolutley brill and welcome back anytime . ( rather not ).
SO very proud mummy...
