His "new" owners called me earlier to give me a little bit of an update as they're so thrilled with him

Well yesterday they brought him hunter trialling and they won the under 12's singles class and the parent and child class!

The under 12's course is mostly little logs on the grounds, but the little girl is only about 9 years old and when they bought Castle last November she was a very nervous rider! The parent and child class is a mixture of Pre-novice and novice fences, and they said he flew round in both classes!

They have also been doing a local Pony Club show jumping league for the past couple of weeks at 60cm - 70cm level, and they've come first a few times and have been placed every other time!

I'm just so pleased that he's doing so well with the little girl *sniff*

Yay for little Castle, he's such a star

I was really worried when I read the title of your post that something horrible had happened to him

Well, you knew he is a star, and it's fabulous to hear that his new owners appreciate him!

And he obviously likes them, too, and is happy, because he is doing so well for them. That is great!

I am so pleased C! He is such a brilliant little pony and it's great that he is still having fun and doing what he loves best

I thought from the title it was something bad!!
Yeah C-I bet the little girl has a huge smile on her face and in her opinion the best pony in the world. You cant do much better than that.

Isn't this what it's all about; having someone else feel as happy and pleased with your pony as you have been with him.

Fantastic news.

Sorry if the post title was a bit misleading to some people

I'm now practically kicking myself for not going to the hunter trial as I've been dying to see Castle in action with the little girl!

He's in a lovely, knowledgable home, but I have to admit I still miss him

And even better - if she is only 9, she has got years ahead with Castle. What a lucky boy he is and very well deserved too! Don't forget to take credit yourself for making him such a super pony.

Castle is just a star! If I had had a child when you were selling him I would have made the trip to Ireland to snap him up! Long may he reign!

What a genuine little chap he is!!!!
