Hello again!
Well its been 4 weeks since surgery, Frida is now walking for 5 minutes 3/4 times a day without her sling but we have now switched to a harness in the front to steady her and to slow her down (all she wants to do it run!!). She is still on medication but only twice a day not 4 times a day, we've managed to shift some weight from her to help her back and joints and we are nearly back to normal! Obviously she cant jump on sofas and climb stairs again but she is adapting very well to her new situation and waits for me to pick her up
there was a blip last week where she continuously threw up and had a very swollen throat but vet couldn't find any reason for it other than it still being sore from surgery and it only coming to light now with the reduced painkillers. However that is now a thing of the past
so proud of my baby girl! On a horsey note, Rio appears to be sound again after a month off with a field knock/bruise but we are confined to short hacks right now as I'm revising for my final exams and he is very unfit again
Hope everyone is enjoying their bank holiday weekend!!
