update on going barefoot.. opinions?

So the front shoes came off on tues and hinds have been off for 5 weeks.

He is a wee bit pottery on stones and careful on hard ground but is sound in the school. Going to get some hoof boots. but what do you think?

The hooves will really improve, especially the heels which are currently under-run and a bit contracted. It's good to keep photos as sometimes it can be hard to spot the slow changes. :)
 
You can certainly see the improvement in the hinds, the frogs are stronger and there is a better angle growing down above the bullnosing.

Hopefully the fronts will improve the same way now they 'have room to breathe'.
