Thank you to all those who kindly sent me messages. My new horse was diagnosed today with degeneration in her hock and compensatory damage in her shoulder. Only showing up now as I have started to increase work and compete her ready for the event season. As she is on loan she can go back and they have now been honest and told me they saw it last year! If only they'd told me before, fortunately I chose to stop and investigate and not carry on which someone could have done.
It leaves me totally gutted as many of you know I lost 2 4year olds in a row in 12 months and my current 5 yr old event mare is off for another 9 months with guarded prognosis. we were just back up and running so this somehow doesnt feel my turn.
So if anyone knows of a 16hh+ eventer for loan please pm me I feel pretty desparate.
