So the dog walker was walking an American bulldog, and a leonberger (2 big strong dogs) plus 6 others? She must've been mad to do that.

As a young adult living in London, one presumes she did it in order to walk more clients' dogs at once to increase her earnings? I wonder if the dogs' owners knew.

Also sadly agree with above! That is sheer mental behaviour! I have two staffies and I know if one of them even at 22kg locked onto something. Youd struggle. So christ knows why she would walk so many sad loss of a life over carelessness.

Presumably the bully dog was responsible for the fatal bites but it does sound like some of the others joined in and I would imagine they are not all going home.

I hadn't seen in the earlier reports any mention that only two of the dogs had any blood on them, the dog owner by the walker (that is thought to have killed her) and a labrador. If that is the case then it seems unnecessary that the others have been held for quite so long.

I hope Cookie and Shadow settle back into their home life ok after such a long time in kennels.

The video with the Leonberger's owner is informative. She also had to go to court to get her dog back, and has had death threats because people thought it was her dog who was the culprit.

I can’t imagine what effect the long incarceration will have had on the mental well-being of the dogs (and the owner). Horrific.
