Well Jack went for his x-ray yesterday evening and its not very good news. After a number of x-rays the vet found a chip in his hock.
Im not 100% sure on terms etc so please bare with me if it doesnt make any sense what I am explaining. He has chipped the bottom part of his tibia the bit that goes round the top talus (ish). Vet is going to discus it with leahurst if there is much point in operating as arthritis has already set in.
So at the moment its a waiting game to speak to the vet next week to see where we go from here. He may just have to be retired and be a field friend.
