Ok so after getting the all clear on his strained ligament in his stifle the work needed to begin, I was told he had compensated alot for hes right stifle while he was healing he had a very sore Quad muscle and he had pulled his hamstring slightly on the left side. After doing the correct exercises for over a month now, i should be able to see a big improvement, which i cant :( He doesnt look any better.

So.... Because Jack likes to pretend he is a stallion when we go to the vets, he never looks lame, (well not lame just strange) ive asked if the vet will come to our yard and see him move their, that way he can see him at his worst, so to speak. Then i want him to go down and have xrays and scans on the left side, incase its more serious than we first thought *SIGH* Im really hoping there is going to be something very noticeable on them, atleast ill know for sure whats up, rather then it could be this or it could be that.

This has been going on for 5 months now :( The vet will be out on the 7th April..

Will keep the updates going for those interested. x

((((((((((((hugs))))))))
There is nothing worse than not knowing. I hated not knowing what was wrong with Lucy when she fell ill last year and the vets saying it could be this or it could be that realy didn't help. I just wanted to know what it was, not what it could be. I got a diagnosis in two months i can't imagen what it would have been like if i had to wait 5 months.
I hope you get some answers on the 7th. fingers crossed it's something that can be fixed.

Yes bless him! You know what, he has been an absolute angel!! :)

he had to have 3 months box rest, then in hand exercise before being turned out. He had a couple of rears while exercising inhand but other than that, nothing... Even the first time i got back on him, he never put a foot wrong, thank god!-hes 16.3 and im 5'2- (Not bad for a mad horse that is cold backed and has a really bad bucking problem a ;) thats how the old owner described him anyway.. Also behaved like a pro when having x rays and scans done, no sedation, nothing.

Very proud mummy :D
