update on lame horse

i posted yesterday asking for suggestions on lameness, it was suggested an abcess. it was an abcess and it had burst during the night, vet came and he had 2 burst wounds which the vet was concerned about, mainly the upper 1, he needs a few days box rest and he should be fine.

That's good news. They always tend to look so dramatic as they always look crippled with them.

Didn't spot your post yesterday, but glad to hear that your lad is now ok. Abcesses are always so dramatic, but usually easily sorted.
