Hi - some of you were kind enough to offer advice on my lovely ponies mystery lameness that started last sat. By wed she was nodding less. The farrier came out that day and could find nothing, also he commented that she didn't have any problems picking up/balancing etc. Thursday she was a a bit better still. Today she trotted up sound on the grass - looked very slightly stiff on hard surface, however I think I am getting paranoid now, and didn't want my daughter to trot her any more on a hard surface. As she seems to be imroving I will hold fast on the vet.
I was thinking that I would wait until we had two or three completely sound days before we tried riding again, then take it steadily - just walk and trot, no tight turn or lateral work until we are certain that the lameness has completely gone - what do you think?
