Went to vet yesterday. Nerve block confirmed same lamess as last time. Cant find cause looks to be suspensory but no sign of injury. So we are off for mris. Vets dont belive this is caused by workload, they think it is something that would show up anyway. Hopefully we get answers at newmarket this time as we didnt last time. I am starting to look for more to compete while this one is investigated. I am gutted more so as both this year and last the cause remains a mystery

It must be frustrating for you. I hope the vets can get to the bottom of it and then you'll have a better idea of your options. It is awful not knowing why something like this isn't right and even if this horses problems were work related, sometimes horses go wrong even if you try and take things at a snail's pace, so don't blame yourself.

I wanted to blame myself last year but I am confident this year that it is just one of those things. Just waiting to find out a day and time to take him for scans. I just want to know now whats the cause. I feel a little happier now I know the location is the same as I 100% know its a repeat problem rather than another problem.
