As some of you may remember I posted about a mare on the yard i help out at who came in from the field with a nasty arterial bleed from her under her cheek. Well I'm pleased to report that she is doing ok, she is still at risk from infection but is on antibiotics to try and prevent this. So far so good anyway. It was quite touch and go for about 24 hours, but she's made of strong stuff and is on the mend!
