Brought him in from the field yesterday, he was out for a few days to enjoy himself. He came in lame and found his front nearside shoe was half off, so YO kindly helped remove it for me, got farrier coming on monday.

Anyway i gave him the alpha a, conditioning cubes and speedibeet. OMG the guy near lifted his head out of the bowl!!! With the cool mix he would lift the bowl and chuck it across his stable, but bowl stayed firmly in place lol.

He kept going back to his dish to see if there was anymore that he might have missed lol. I was so glad to see him happy.

He gets black scoop of alpha a, scoop of conditioning cubes and half scoop of speedibeet. Is this suitable to give twice a day or should i be giving him half this at each feed time?

Sorry my feed knowledge is really crap.

To be honest, other than giving just a scoop a day of the conditioning cubes as opposed to a scoop a meal, I'd say that his rations are fine. Just monitor him, and if he gets abit porky just drop the cubes down again

Meant he never lifted his head from the bowl lol.

SD10 hes underweight, we were giving him extra haylage to fatten him up but he was just getting fizzed up
