Update on my arab foal :)

Thought I'd post an update and some unfolded pics of Jazmine, my arab foal.

Both are doing really well, Dina has taken to mummyhood really well, much better than anyone expected, so I'm really pleased. Such a relief and so lovely to see after everything she went through last year with her colic surgery.

But, please enlighten me.... those ears.... Are they arab ears? I have a horse with ears just like that - trouble is he isn't an arab and I have never seen ears like his before. he is a blue blooded thoroughbred....?!?

She is by East worth Harry. she is his first foal, so was very eagerly awaited!

Oh, and yes they are arab ears!!!

and I just realised Harry is spelt Harri, he's just harry as his stable name! He belongs to my friend/yard owner. Bless him, keep telling him what a clever boy he is when I feed him in the mornings!

haras, she's beautifull, and love the ears, my PBA had them when he was a foal, he's 17hh and 20years old now, but still as lovely. i hope you have many many years of fun with your little filly.

Yes, and therefore he has alot of arabian blood in his history. The three founding 'thoroughbred' sires were arabs. The Godolphin Arabian, the Byerley Turk and the Darley Arabian.
