Hes free!!!!!!
Had his xrays this morning and hes allowed to go out.
Ok its only in a pen the size of 4 stables and for only 15 minutes but I have to build it up daily for the next 2 weeks then if all goes well he will go into a small paddock. As he'd been sedated for his xrays we left him a couple of hours and put him out a bit heavy eyed and he just walked off and ate the grass. It was great. Tomorrow will probably be a different story but Ive stocked up on the Sedalin.
Its been hard work, plenty of tears, cost me a fortune in bedding but these last 12 weeks have flew, thanks for all your support.

Thats great news, im so happy for you *fingers crossed* he will be ok when he goes out.

can't believe its been 12 weeks since it happened, must feel a lot longer for you. Good luck for tomorrows turn out, hope he is well behaved again.

Was only thinking about him this weekend and wondering how you were going. Great news, its a wonderful feeling isn't it.This summer it will be 3 years since our girl had her injury and , touch wood, she has been absolutely fine. Keep telling her she should be slowing down a bit now shes 19!

glad to hear everything went well i bet hes really enjoyed his grass munching. i think you were right in putting him out while he was still a bit dopey. hope you remembered to breathe when letting him out lol.
