update on my boy

Just wanted a small *woohoo* post really because my boy has stayed sound for 6 weeks - how sad!

i took him to patchetts last week just for the intro test because he hasnt competed since last October, and he did a lovely, but tense test and placed 4th. I am really pleased with that considering hes not been out to a party for such a long time.

That said, he did stamp on my poor OH's foot!

This weekend i was too ill to ride ( sadly not even self-inflicted!) and he looked really *really* good.

this good, in fact...

I havent seen paces like that from him since last year so im over the moon to finally have my 'old boy' back.

Heres hoping the good times continue!! fingers crossed!!

Oh poo!

We were thinking of going to Patchetts for their next unaffiliated dressage................but if that was 4th, I don't think there's much point us even making the effort to plait, load and drive the half hour trip tbh!

oh he didnt do that in the arena - the arena is *scary* - especially the left hand side for some reason! Sadly im not at the level where i would be able to make any good use of his talents - until he got injured, we were only really at novice/prelim level.
