My lad was given the all clear from laminitis by the vet a couple of weeks ago and they advised me to walk him down the lane and back to see how he is on hard ground before commencing ridden work - have to wait for some steel heartbars to replace his aluminium ones first.
He was very keen to get out for a change of scene and I am happy that he is sound walking up and down the short distance. On the turn I was not 100% on the foot he had rotation in...he was turning in very tight though as he was a bit keen and eager but I am going to leave him in the field for a while longer I think...
