Well firstly I found out today that in his last but one home B had got away whilst being lunged and was galloping round with lunge line trailing behind him so that was interesting and may explain his behaviour on wed's.

His last home said they'd lunged him but as not everything they've said has turned out to be 100% true I'm taking that with a pinch of salt.

So my very experienced friend came up today, she feels and I do that he is worried and his way of showing it is by becoming bolshy to try to get you to stop. So we are going back to basics with him, starting off with in hand work and gradually progressing onto lunging. It's like he's been taught something but bits have been missed out or he hasn't been given time to digest it.

It was amazing today how tiring he found it, we did about twenty mins of transitions, changes of rein and circles. It's a huge learning curve for me as well but I'm loving it and I feel we're getting a fantastic bond with each other :D
