Update on my mare - pics

I have just got back from seeing my mare. She's definitely perked up. Its is such a relief - I can't tell you how worried I have been.

I need to get her back on track now. She's lost allot of weight in such a short space of time - just 1 week - its so scary.

My mare looked like that after she had colic surgery. Went into the vet hospital in show condition came back looking okish after 10 days, got home and after a week looked like a welfare case. Don't worry the spring grass will help loads.

Thought is was liver disease, it was pretty touch and go and I actually made enquiries into PTS. Blood test results came back today and stunned us all - turns out its a viral infection. Thank God!
