She's at the vets with an impaction in her gut

My OH last checked on her gone 11pm last night and she had still not eaten much, but started to when he was there. She was pulling faces at the horse next door and seemed ok.

On way over this morning, had call from YO saying Amber was flat out in the stable and wouldnt get up- even when she fed everyone else. Called vets who said to take her in.

By the time we got to yard, Amber was standing again and looking very sorry for herself. Took her over to vets and they said she had an impaction in her gut, so she's staying in for the weekend and they are going to tube her and give her fluids intravinously (sp).

The vet thinks it could be stress related, or that Amber is just one of those horses that can get it for no known reason. Trust her!

I think I need to join the "own the unluckiest horse on the planet clique"!

Any spare positive vibes would be much appreciated

Hope she gets better soon.I can join that club too wont bore you with the details not the best club to be in is it lol Good vibes
