I'm not sure if you can remember my desperate posts about my mare, she was diagnosed with laminitis at the end of March and for a while it was touch and go. My vet was worried as she's such a big boned girl - 16.1hh half warmblood x quarter shire x quarter TB, all this extra weight on her front feet.
Well for the past 2 weeks I have been able to gently walk her for a few minutes then let her have a few mouthfuls of grass after being stable bound for over 4 months. The vet said I could let her loose in the outdoor school today and she loved it. It brought tears to my eyes as I never thought I would see this day.
