If you remember I posted asking if breathing issues (ROA) should have been picked up on when 5 staged.

Well OH has built a new stable in the front of the barn away from my american barn with my other two horses in. The barn section is very airy and tall with lots of space and as dust free as it can be for a 200 year old barn lol. The stable is behind the walkway through the barn connecting to my american barn building with my stables in (Difficult to explain). So we can leave the huge sliding door open if she has problems again.

We have matted the stable out and although the stable has built up sides we have used a wooden field gate as the door, basically to ensure air can circulate. The stable is also quite big as she cannot have too much bedding she has more chance to lie down on a clean area.

Guess what she is doing great and is back in work not a cough has been heard for days and no trace of a wheeze, I am so relieved! I am still soaking her hay just in case though, I really dont want to make her ill again. The first night she was so unsettled being away from the other two but after a few nights she is totally chilled out and knows she gets to play in the field with them after breakfast.

Thank you all so much for your advice, as I have told you before my local
