that was my original post. decided to persevere with him with the help from my friend/rider/yard manager and despite the odd tantrum here or there the little git is tunring into a little angel. Trainer thinks he has the pot to go GP (although i doubt i do!) went to his 2nd ever dressage show and got 66.7% and 3rd place he was afraid but a brave boy and i think rather enjoyed the adoration and attention at the show, and the local riding club have asked to come watch him at work tomorrow as they want him on their team. feel really chuffed that a bit of hard work (and a lot of money) are starting to pay off. i feel he trusts me more and most certainly trust him more! i am starting to get the horse i wanted and i am really pleased with how his attitude to his work is improving as is trainer. still keeping a bit of jumping in there mixed with the odd hack etc to keep him happy but he seems to have accepted mummy wants to be a dressage diva and if he wants to continue to the life of luxury then he has to put up with the stressage!
