Well Olwen had the farrier this week and he trimmed her fronts and congratulated me on the work I've done with her, as he saw how untouchable she was when I first got her. He is doing the backs next time so that she didn't feel over faced or stressed. She was really good.
I bought her in from the field today and she was a little on edge with her head right up in the clouds. When I got to the yard, the YO said 'well I didn't expect her to come in easy today five minutes ago she was galloping round with her tail in the air!'
The YO said she has a wonderful action, and I've seen her floaty trot, she looks amazing. My stable has been taken over by an Irish draft with a nasty foot infection, so I'm limited to how much I can do on the yard as it's a working busy riding school, so I can't wait to get my stable back!
