update on old mac hoof boots and my boys first ride with them

They were fab.

He look to them like a duck to water and did not seem in the least bit concerned that he had it on. No foot soreness etc.

Only thing is, is now looks a little chavy. My OH wants to put on go faster strips and give him a hoody, so he will really fit in with the other teenagers on the area.

fronts only and i paid £88.69 with free pastern wraps from saddlery shop. they were great and gave really good advice. it was 3.99 P&P. If you use them for a cast shoe, you just use it on the hoof with the missing shoe.

I was told that if going barefoot and changing to the use of hoof boots, then fronts only are usually needed as they take 70% of weight and wear.

need to be sure to measure properly and again, the saddlery shop told me how to do this.
