Hoorah he's awake and up, all went well, he's still wobbly but ok.
Thanks so much for everyone's wishes they certainly helped one very worried mummy.
Now for the long road to recovery.

Waiting for the phone call is the worst - our docs never called until the horse was in the stall, which could take 2+ hours after the horse was off the table, if they decided they were quite happy lying down.
