Thanks to everyone who commented on my previous post about my filly being kept in alone all day.

I’ve taken the advice and moved her.

We walked to the new yard this morning- it’s only about 4 miles away.

She was keen to get going 😂

We walked through fields of cows, over the bridge over the railway line, past farm machinery, on roads. The only thing that was deemed scary was a poor man who was quietly painting his garden fence.

She strolled into the field like she’d always been there, immediately got stuck into the grass, and met her new friends without any drama.

They are separated with some tape as an introduction but then will all be together after that.

The fenced off piece that she’s in today is the best grass, so she’ll be on slightly poorer grazing once they are all acquainted which will suit her better.

So out 24/7, two field mates and plenty of lovely walks in the area. I’m so relieved!

She looks happy. I love the fancy water trough.

What a beautiful place you live in Lady G . She really is the most amazing horse, nothing seems to phase her at all. The new place looks fab :) ( still couldn't put my fatty Arab on that grass though !!!)
I'm sure you will both be very happy there . That last place with that daft groom could have ruined all the good work you have done with her, good job you're out of there now. x

She's utterly gorgeous - picture 4 o_O
If you ever have a professional photo shoot done, please do it at this time of year so you can float around in a corn field, that combined with her colouring is just magical!

Just seen this lovely thread. The pictures paint quite an idealic picture- pretty filly, glorious countryside, sunny day, village watering hole and a pleasant 4 mile stroll with the sweet natured young one.
Reminds me of Jill's Ponies. All you needed was to finish sitting under the tree with chocolate and lemonade.
