As excited as Kitty about to be a bridesmaid
Well the perfume arrived today, (v quick service from chaps at pax horse!) So sprayed the stayed amount on my hands and toddled out to long rein the be-horned pony.
She LOVED the smell, kept sniffing my hands and then the long reins I had been holding when I put them on the floor. She was slightly calmer when being tacked up, still hated having girth done up but less head tossing & squeaking than normal.
Long reined in 'school' for a bit, she did have a few paddys, all 4 feet off ground type shys, but then happily pootled round sheep feild, though a very over grown gate down grassy track & past house down road for a bit. Also walked happily thro garden to get back to stables as I can't open drive gate - too little!!
So, did it work? Really don't know, I certainly felt calmer & horned-pony liked the smell, she still shyed, but was slightly nicer towards me than usual, so jury still out.........
