Pooh-Bah
A different (more favourite
) vet from our practice came today and after a thorough exam of both Sidney's eyes pronounced them to be totally normal!
He was at a bit of a loss as to the unidentified white line which the other vet saw
I am so relieved, even though the bill for a suspected good scratch at a fly bite will be totally out of proprtion to the seriousness of the condition
To MQ - thanks for your concern
and
B_o_F - I have read your other eye posts with interest and very much appreciate your thorough and sound explanation of treating an eye for my post. It is excellent advice for all of us and although I have escaped with just a bill and a sleepless night, none of us should ever treat an eye condition as minor and after any essential first aid (which includes removing horse from unsafe environment to safe one) CALL THE VET!
