well poppy is doin quite well, being in is helping on her weight loss but she has tonnes of energy. i have been trying to be more confident around her, and be more assertive when she is being naughty and it seems to be working. she now walks n and out of her pen very well on just a head collar. so the plan is to get her shod asap, i'm gonna fone one of my friends who has a lovely calm pony just down the road and hopefully we can start runnin pop up an down the hills. however poppy has started throwing her head about, in full circles almost throwin herself up in the air, and i can't work out what is wrong, they seems to be nothing wrong on her exterier, so i'm gettin the vet out again to double check.

could her head thowing be out of frustration? cause it stops when she is put outside for a run about. (still gonna get the vet up just incase) but what do u guys think?

Well done for being more confident - that's great news!

sounds like headshaking - can be caused by a sore mouth, flies or pollen (and any number of other causes). The good news is that we're heading for winter when the triggers are reduced.
If it has just suddenly started it might well be her teeth. Have they been done recently?
